Sturrock looks for positives in postponement

Southend manager Paul Sturrock was left a frustrated man after his side`s game against Cheltenham was postponed. The first meeting between the sides was abandoned due to floodlight failure at the start of November and, after Tuesday`s rearranged fixture was also cancelled due to the current wintery conditions, Sturrock hopes it will be third time lucky when the teams meet again."You begin to wonder if the match will ever get played but it was a shame the game was called off because it was one we were looking forward to playing in," he told the Echo."The good thing was that it was called off early before anyone would have started the journey. And when we do eventually get to go there again we will be much stronger as well."We had a few players injured who might be fit by the time we go there again and that`s the positive way of looking at things."
