Southend United's Paul Sturrock and Stevenage's Graham Westley after the game

Both managers had their say after the 1-1 draw at Stevenage Tuesday evening; and both were happy enough with a point but for different reasons! Sturrock: 'We're confident we can get the result we want'Blues boss Paul Sturrock Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "I think the players have worked very hard over the last two games. We deserved a draw and if you think from chances made they have scored from their only opportunity and my goalie hasn't had much else to do. I would like to think if we can score first then we can take control of the match."Westley: 'We went ahead against the run of play' Meanwhile, Boro boss Graham Westley was just pleased to have left the Lamex Stadium with a draw.Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio: "I feel fortunate to come away with a point to be honest. In the first half they had far the better of the chances, we had a bright start, but we went ahead against the run of play. They had a number of opportunities to equalise and probably could have gone in with a lead at half time. We dug in second half and looked as if we were going to see it out."
