Shrimpers seal return deal

Southend United have re-signed Reading midfielder Hal Robson-Kanu on loan.

The 19-year-old has returned to Roots Hall on a month's loan after spending three months with the Shrimpers last season.

"He did well last season when he was fit and the fact he can play on the wing or upfront is a bonus," manager Steve Tilson told the club's official website.

Meanwhile, Tilson will the rule over trialist French midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe.
