Shrimpers make trio available

Southend United have made strikers Matt Harrold, Richie Foran and Charlie MacDonald available for transfer.

Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson has put the attacking trio on the transfer list following their failure to hold down first-team places at Roots Hall.

"They have found it hard to get into the team during their time with us," Tilson told the club's official website.

"I explained that it would be hard for them to get into the team next season and we all agreed it would be best if they went to play elsewhere."

Meanwhile, Tilson has admitted that former on-loan Sheffield Wednesday striker Leon Clarke is on his summer shopping list.
