Not wanted by Colchester United; Baldwin before Carlisle United

Blues loanee centre half Pat Baldwin has been told there is no future for him at ColU, so he'll be looking to help keep the Shrimpers in League One and maybe secure a permanent contract. Baldwin: One of the few good things to come out of Southend's grim goalless draw with Exeter Saturday was the fact we kept a clean sheet, the first since last October and a 1-0 win over Gillingham, 20 matches ago!Baldwin spoke to www.southendunited.co.uk: "It's a bit of a relief to be honest as I have been here for a while now and we have conceded far too many goals. Little things like not letting in goals are bound to give us a boost at the moment so that gives us something to build on going into Saturday's game."
