Moussa confident of survival

Southend United midfielder Franck Moussa is backing the side to pull away from the wrong end of the League One table.

The Shrimpers are just two points ahead of the dreaded drop zone ahead of their weekend game at MK Dons and, although he is confident of a safe end to the season, he believes they need to start picking up results sooner rather than later.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "We all need to stick together, but I'm sure we can stay up.

"We need to take it game by game and give it our all, but we have shown what we can do and we need to do it again now.

"It would be great to get some good results soon, because we don't want to get further down the table and start putting more pressure on ourselves."
