Darlington have extended Richie Foran's loan deal from Southend United until the end of the season.
The 6ft striker has enjoyed a successful loan period at the Quakers, making seven appearances and scoring two goals in the process after his initial loan move to the north-east side two months ago.
His form with the Quakers has now seen manager David Penney extend the deal due to the forward's good form with the club.
Foran started his career at Shelbourne before moving to Carlisle United in 2001 for £20,000 where he notched 25 league goals in 92 appearances.
The Irishman then moved to Motherwell on a free transfer where again he scored goals, this time bagging 35 in 105 appearances. His form at Fir Park rewarded him with a move to Southend for £200,000 in January 2007.
Foran has however failed to make an impact at Roots Hall only scoring twice in 23 appearances.
