All for one and one for all: 'If that's not team spirit, I don't know what is' AccringtonStanley

Before Burton Albion and after Accrington Stanley. Southend united striker Neil Harris along with his boss Paul Sturrock have dismissed talk of anger management courses needed for the Shrimpers squad it's all about team bonding! (Don't mention Bilel!) Harris: 'The well documented discipline problems have to be addressed by ourselves'   It's taken the former Millwall scoring legend Neil Harris, yet to really look at his best in the blue of Southend, a chance to place the recent stories about the need for the Shrimpers squad to find their inner-hippy in perspective with his own take on what constitutes team bonding!   And with his experience with Millwall he should know, never a bunch of lads who hold back, and I don't mean the fans!   Harris explained to www.echo-news.co.uk: "We have a weird and wonderful bunch of boys in the dressing room and the mix is first class. Any good team that becomes successful has a great togetherness and respect for each other. So the well documented discipline problems have to be addressed by ourselves and eradicated as soon as possible to enable the team spirit to carry us through difficult periods of games and tough times in the season. To have that excellent spirit, everyone from the Blues faithful to the players have to be pulling in the right direction."   No arguing with that, I've never known a quiet, unassuming side get out of this division!   Something that Blues boss Paul Sturrock agrees with as he spoke about the events at Accrington Stanley after the Shrimpers 2-1 win last weekend.   Luggy told BBC Essex: "All of a sudden Granty was barred from getting into a changing room through their team being upset about the sending off [of Kevin McIntyre]. There was a bit of scuffling going on. The good thing about team spirit is, my dressing room emptied very quickly and they were out there ready to box. If that's not team spirit, I don't know what is."   Go Shrimpers! (Shame Bilel wasn't up there, they could have just sent him in alone!)   So where do you think the Shrimpers will finish this season now? VOTE HERE: www.southendunited-mad.co.uk
