Alex Revels in return to training

The 25-year-old is hoping to get back to full fitness in time for the start of pre-season training in July but will delay having the metal plate and screws removed from his leg until the end of next season to avoid any further problems. "It was only quite a light session we did looking ahead to pre-season, but it was just fantastic to be out there again," he told Southend's official website. "Everything is feeling fine, apart from my lungs, and hopefully I can join in with a more full-on training session before the end of the week because that would mean a lot to me."
