Widdrington leaves Shrimpers
Southend have parted company with assistant manager Tommy Widdrington with immediate effect.
Paul Sturrock has taken the decision to release Widdrington in order to bring a fresh impetus to the club.
Sturrock will be evaluating suitable candidates to fill the role in the near future.
