On-loan Southend striker Waide Fairhurst is looking forward to getting some game time after completing his loan move from Doncaster. The 21-year-old has joined the Shrimpers on a one-month deal keen to get some action after been frozen out at Rovers this term. "I am eager to get some games and this is a good club to come to," he told the club's official website. "I was told on Wednesday that Southend had been on the phone to see if I wanted to come on loan and this is a great opportunity for me. "I want to impress the manager at Doncaster but at the moment I am a Southend player and I want to do well for them first and foremost."
