Torquay United link with Craig Easton

According to media speculation League Two rivals the Gulls are moving in on the Southend United skipper.    Craig Easton: Devon bound? Torquay United have lost a few players, mainly to ex-boss Paul Buckle now at fourth tier rivals Bristol Rovers, and Gulls new manager and former Shrimper Martin Ling has some rebuilding to do. And according to Echo journalist Chris Phillips, with maybe a nod from his legendary source at Roots Hall, they could be interested in the unsettled Southend skipper Craig Easton. The Devon club would certainly have some dosh in the bank to pay what the Scottish born midfielder believes he's worth and would be a good signing for a team obviously looking to bring in a few new faces, in fact, having been through last summer with the Shrimpers, it looks tight up Craig's street! Phillips tweeted: 'Torquay United now favourites to sign Craig Easton, if he leaves Blues.' Keep an eye on this one, though you couldn't get further from Scotland than where Craig could end up, but some news on Crystal Palace midfielder Alassane N'Diaye would be nice, and as he's expected back from holiday this week we may get it, unless those transfer embargo rumours are true!
