Top of the table clash to be shown live on Sky

12 January 2012 19:35
Southend United's promotion six-pointer at home to Crawley Town will be played a day earlier to allow the Sky Sports cameras to take over.

The creepies and fat boy Evans are to be seen at Roots Hall live, both in one evening, is the country prepared?

It's worth £35,000 to the Shrimpers so there shouldn't be too many complaints, and it's not entirely unexpected, that the present League Two second placed Southend United clash with leaders Crawley Town will be shown to the nation live on Sky Sports.

The game has been moved forward 24 hours to Monday, March 5th, kick-off 19.45, from the original Tuesday.

This will be the second time the Essex boys can be caught in all their glory for the pleasure of those who want to catch their footy with a pint and a pie in the pub, the Railway should be pleased, after the away match at Gillingham only three weeks before on Monday, February 13th has also chosen.
