Tips for Ryan: 'Just get in on target, he's not a proper keeper'

Southend United winger Ryan Hall obviously likes facing Oxford United as for the second time in four days he scored the winner against them.

Hall: 'I picked my spot and if I hit it there I knew he wouldn’t save it'

Shrimpers wideboy come inside forward Ryan Hall is very hot at the monent with four goals in succession, two of those against the same team, Oxford United, and they brought home the points last weekend and placed his side in the regional semi-finals of the JPT for the next!

Of course it helps when the oppositions' senior shot stopper gets sent off, in the incident that led to the set piece being awarded, and a midfielder goes in between the sticks, the Ryan steps up to do the business, again!

Hall told www.echo-news.co.uk: “It was nice to get another goal and another good result. All my team-mates were just telling me to make sure I got the shot on target because it wasn’t a proper goalkeeper who had just gone in goal after their proper keeper was sent off. I made sure I picked my spot and if I hit it there I knew he wouldn’t save it. Thankfully that’s what I was able to do and I knew it was going in straight away which was great.”

Hall beats then! But poor old Asa for the U's, first time he touches the ball is to pick it out of the net!

Now, let's try and make it five Ryan against Preston in the Cup Saturday!
