Tilson: Shrimpers deserved more

06 December 2009 13:56
Deon Burton's 25th-minute strike sealed the points for a below-par Addicks and Tilson had nothing but praise for his men after the game.[LNB]"I thought we were the better team," he said. "We had the lion's share of possession and at the very least we deserved to come away with a point.[LNB]"Unfortunately, we didn't put our chances away and that has cost us. You would have put your mortgage on Barney [Lee Barnard] scoring in the first half, but I can't go screaming and shouting at the players, because they were excellent.[LNB]"It just didn't go our way in front of goal and even at the death the ball didn't fall for us when it looked like we might score.[LNB]"We've now got to bounce back at home to Hartlepool next Saturday and try to get three points."[LNB][LNB]
