Tilson reveals Bakayogo absence
The defender played for the Shrimpers in their friendlies against Chelmsford City and Ipswich, but was a notable absentee for the 2-0 defeat to Dagenham and Redbridge.
Tilson told the club's official website: "I thought he did okay for us to be honest.
"But this chance of going to France came up for him and I didn't want him to miss out while we were making our minds up on what to do."
