Tilson refuses to point any fingers

Danny Schofield fired the hosts ahead in first-half stoppage time before debutant Shaun Batt, who signed on loan from Championship outfit Peterborough United 24 hours before kick-off, put Millwall in control.

Tilson admits his squad is thin but knows they have to keep working hard.

"I couldn't fault our lads, they really did give me everything," he said.

"We gave the ball away too easily and they hit us on the break, but as I say I can't fault the players.

"We're down to 15 or 16 players at the moment and it isn't getting any easier. The games are coming pretty quick at the moment so we are very stretched but we have to fight on."
