Tilson admits Shrimpers 'devastation'

The lowly Shrimpers had taken a shock lead on the stroke of half-time when Scott Vernon converted from close-range after Damien Scannell's cross had deflected off City defender Gary Doherty.[LNB]But Oli Johnson then took centre stage, scoring from close-range to equalise after Steve Mildenhall had parried Grant Holt's shot and then heading home a corner deep into injury time to earn Norwich what had seemed an unlikely victory.[LNB]Referring to the late goal, Tilson said: "That was tough to take - it just sums up the way things have been going for us recently. The lads are devastated in the changing-room and rightly so because I thought they were excellent and deserved to take something from the game. I can't praise them highly enough.[LNB]"We were on the back foot at times which you would expect against the league leaders, but we limited them to very few chances and created a few ourselves.[LNB]"As I said it's hard to take but life goes on and we can take a lot of positives out of this performance. If we keep playing like that I am sure we will be fine."[LNB][LNB]
