Steve Tilson: 'I'm disappointed at what's gone on'It's been quite a 24 hours before the weekend clash between Shrimpers at Imps at Sincil Bank.Accusations between Southend United's former manager Steve Tilson and present chairman Ron Martin have been flowing steadily between the clubs hiking up the emotion already involved in Tilly's first meeting with the club that gave him his first chance to be in charge of a league side. It's all about the alleged non-payment of wages after Tilly was placed on gardening leave last summer, and he wants his dosh. The Essex club though quickly released a statement refuting the alleagtions.Tilson said: "I don't feel I want to see the chairman at the moment. I'll always be grateful to Ron for giving me the opportunity to manage the club but I'm disappointed at what's gone on." His assistant at the time was the ex-Borient boss Paul Brush who left Roots Hall three months earlier in March of 2010 after the 3-0 defeat at Hartleppol United, and is now with Tilly again aas the Imps No.2.Brushy, being Brushy, is far more bullish about the whole thing. He said: "We won't go looking for people on Saturday but I won't ignore anybody because both of us know we have nothing to regret while we were there."
