Taxman removes winding up petition against Southend United
The club have confirmed that HMRC have dropped their winding up petition against the Shrimpers. Shrimpers CEO Tara Brady accused them of 'bullying', even the mild mannered Shrimpers Trust was annoyed! Well, it seems Her Majesty's taxman has backed down, for now! www.southendunited.co.uk said: 'Southend United has today received confirmation from HM Revenue & Cutoms that they have removed the Winding Up Petition issued against the Club.'
