Swindon must stop celebrating after 'our first real challenge' says Di Canio

Robins boss Paulo Di Canio has urged his Swindon side not to think about Wembley after their 2-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy semi-final win at Southend.

Di Canio: 'Now we must think about the league'   The Wiltshire Robins have now booked their place in the Southern area final of the competition.

Goals from Paul Caddis and Ronan Murray set up a showdown with Barnet, who beat Brentford 5-3 on penalties in the other regional semi, after Blair Sturrock put Southend ahead, with all the goals coming in the last half-hour.

However, boss Paulo Di Canio is focussing on league matters, telling the PA after the game: "Southend are top of our league and this was our first real challenge. But I have told them that it is enough celebrating and now we must think about the league. I said forget what has happened tonight (Tuesday), but keep the best from this match and keep it going in the league."

Until they visit Roots Hall again on Saturday, January 28t that is, though let's hope they lose before then!
