SPL Edinburgh club Hearts along with East Fife and Raith Rovers could all take part in a pre-season tournament over a July weekend against Hearts of Midlothian.. SPL team Hearts are in talks with East Fife, Raith Rovers and that well-known Scottish side Southend United about a quadrangular pre-season tournament to be held at East Fife's ground Bayview over the weekend of July 9th and 10th.The Fifers boss John Robertson is also the Edinburgh clubs record goalscorer and would love to face his former club, where he scored an amazing 271 goals and even managed Hearts over the 2004/05 season. Also included would be the Rovers, the other club in Fife, yes, they're are two, and the south-east Essex 'Scottish' Shrimpers, which include Luggy as boss, skipper Craig Easton, and Dundee born Blair! The earliest known picture of East Fife Football ClubDiscussions will continue over the summer event but East Fife officials are hopeful.Jim Robertson, vice-chairman of East Fife, told www.scotsman.com: "We're still working on it.The proposed teams are ourselves, Raith Rovers, Hearts and Southend. Nothing is firmed up yet and talks are ongoing but our manager is keen for it to happen."Could be some good drinking done over those couple of days, EEB to work out a decent pub crawl if it all comes off!The Luggy Files (Whitehead!)Personal informationFull namePaul Whitehead SturrockDate of birth10 October 1956 (1956-10-10) (age 54)Place of birthEllon, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandHeight5 ft 8 in (1.73 m)Playing positionStrikerClub informationCurrent clubSouthend UnitedYouth careerBankfoot AthleticSenior career*YearsTeamApps†(Gls)†1974-1989Dundee United385(109)National team1977-1982Scotland under-219(0)1981-1987Scotland20(3)Teams managed1993-1998St. Johnstone1998-2000Dundee United2000-2004Plymouth Argyle2004Southampton2004-2006Sheffield Wednesday2006-2007Swindon Town2007-2009Plymouth Argyle2010-Southend United* Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only.† Appearances (Goals).(Manager info supplied by Wikipedia, for full the full article go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Sturrock)
