Sturrock still talking to Sturrock

The son of Blues boss Paul Sturrock, striker Blair, is still undecided about signing a new contract, but his future should be sorted out over the next week. Blair Sturrock: Still to sign on the dotted line Not that the many of the Shrimpers faithful, especially the guy behind me in the West Stand, is holding their breath, but the hard working and sometime underrated Shrimpers striker Blair Sturrock is, like his skipper, holding out on signing a new deal so is officially out of contract and open to offers. (No rumours of clubs interested for the son of Luggy, bless.) Anyway, a tweet from the always on the phone Echo journalist Chris Phillips informs us that something should be sorted very shortly, and personally we all think Blair is a decent option, from the bench, and hope he puts pen to paper to stay with Daddy for a further year at most. Let's face it, who else would have him? Phillips wrote: 'Was told today Blair Sturrock's future should be decided one way or the other by next week.' Err, that's it, well, what else is there to do on a Thursday morning, work?! The tennis isn't back on until midday, and then it's going to piss down!
