Southend boss was just pleased to be in the hat for the second round draw after drawing 2-2 at Macclesfield. Town twice led through goals from Colin Daniel and Nat Brown, but the visitors hit back each time through Antonio German and Barry Corr to force a replay at Roots Hall "I thought 2-2 was a fair result and I'll certainly take it because we did well to twice to come back from being a goal down and at least we're in the second round draw," said Sturrock. "Make no mistake this is a very difficult place to come to. They're a strong physically imposing unit, very hard and aggressive and they play to their strengths. "They are difficult to defend against set-pieces and their long throws and I don't think we've quite mastered our defending particularly in the first half but in the middle of the second half we began to get to grips with the game. "We're delighted to be in the second round draw, we're competing in a lot of competitions at the moment but that's the way we want it at this club."
