Sturrock praises 'unbelivable' support: 'Enjoying watching their team play, long may it last'

Barnet FC: Nearly half of the crowd at Underhill Tuesday evening were Southend United supporters who never stopped singing, and manager Paul Sturrock can only salute them.

Sturrock: 'It felt like we were playing at home'   With 1,216 of last night's crowd of 2,744 supporting Southend, (that's 44% folks), it's not surprising the players looked generally pleased when the came over to give generous applause to the travelling faithful at the end of their 3-0 beating of Barnet, they received a fair amount back as well!   Blues boss Paul Sturrock speaking to the local media after the match didn't hold back in his praise.   Sturrock told BBC Essex: 'It's unbelievable. They're enjoying watching their team play, that's pleasing for me and long may it last.'   He also told the Echo: 'It felt like we were playing at home.
