Southend's tax issue put to bed

The Shrimpers were given a stay of execution by the high court on Wednesday after pledging to repay, in full, the amount owed to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.[LNB]And in a statement issued on Monday afternoon, the club confirmed that all action had been dismissed at a morning hearing following the release of funds by chairman Ron Martin over the weekend[LNB]The club added that the matter had now been brought to a close.[LNB][LNB]
