Coker can't feature against Swindon

Southend are likely to be without Ben Coker when they host Swindon.

The defender limped out of Saturday's 3-0 win over Bradford after just 35 minutes with an ankle injury and could face a spell on the sidelines.

Midfielder Michael Timlin replaced Coker at left-back and after an encouraging display could keep his place against his former club.

Striker David Mooney remains sidelined by a foot injury.

Swindon boss Luke Williams will be pondering changes after a 4-0 defeat at Rochdale on Saturday.

But he is still set to be without midfielder Yaser Kasim, who still needs to undergo a scan on the ankle injury which kept him out at Spotland.

Striker Jonathan Obika lasted an hour on his return from a knee injury and his fitness will be assessed.

James Brophy is still battling to overcome a breathing problem.
