Southend United striker Blair Sturrock returned to the side in the shock 2-1 win at Rotherham United Saturday and grabbed his second goal against them this season. Sturrock:Those with good memories will recall the son of Luggy scored the winner the last time we picked up three points at Roots Hall, er, against Rotherham, er, the last time they lost, back in October! And there he was again, at the Don Valley Stadium this time, with what turned out to the decisive second goal on 13 minutes, a bullet header from close range, that led to the Shrimpers first double of the season. Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "It's a strange trait of mine during my career that I always seem to score against the same teams. It's something I've carried on from youth football, so it was nice to do it on again on Saturday, especially as I know their centre-back (John) Mullins. I've played with him at a few clubs, so it was great to score in both games we've had with them and most importantly to win them as well because they're a very strong side in this league." Now the five goal striker wants to make sure we continue the move up the table by picking up some points on the hallowed turf.Blair concluded: "We play with confidence away from home and now we need to do the same at Roots Hall."
