Blues boss Paul Sturrock is insisting his players remain upbeat for the tough trip to Bradford City Friday evening as they chase their first league win of the season. Sturrock: 'Losing like we did was a real kick in the guts'Old Luggy was a happy bunny after his players respnded to his words following the debacle against Port Vale Saturday by holding Premier League Wolves to the final seconds in midweek, and now he wants to keep spirits high as they return to npower league action away to Bradford City and try to gain their first three points of the season.Sturrock told www.echo-news.co.uk: "It's my job to keep the players upbeat because they were fantastic. Losing like we did was a real kick in the guts but we need to take this as a positive rather than a negative. We didn't look like a League Two side and the players really did show what they are capable of."However, he knows it's the bread and butter world of league football that defines how well his team are doing, and he wants the Carling Cup form to continue into Valley Parade Friday night.Luggy continued: "It's a very difficult game but we have to get three points soon. The start to the season has been very disappointing because I know what these players are capable of. There is a worry that they may now be a little leg weary and it could be a case of having to make a few changes to freshen up the team."
