After Tuesday's exciting 3-3 victory over Bristol City, the draw for the second round of the Carling Cup brought a trip to Premiership club Woves, and Blues boss Paul Sturrock is more than happy with the draw. Sturrock: 'It's always good to test yourself against a Premier League side' It's been confirmed; Southend United will travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carling Cup second round on Tuesday, August 24th, kick-off 19.45. (Ticket details to be announced.)And it's a game that Shrimpers manager Paul Sturrock appreciated that the tie will not only bring some vital dosh into the club's bank account, it will test his squad against a side that finished 15th in the Premiership last season, eight points clear of relegation.  Luggy told www.echo-news.co.uk: "It's a wee money spinner for the club and lets hope the Wolves fans come out in their droves for the game.
