Three to one; the odds on Southend United returning from Oxford United with a win, which they did, 2-0 , and Blues boss Paul Sturrock is 'loathed to make changes' for the visit of Cheltenham Town Monday afternoon. Sturrock: The Southend manager Paul Sturrock is a happy Luggy, which is not surprising as he has just seen his side pull off a second successive 2-0 away win over Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium Saturday. And what gave him most joy was 18-year-old youth captain Kane Ferdinand playing so well in midfield in place of the injured Anthony Grant.Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "Kane is a centre-back and he has played most of his early football there. We saw today that with a couple more games under his belt that he is going to be able to play in midfield as well and he has a future as a fullback in him as well."
