Both Southend United manager Paul Sturrock and Barnet caretaker boss Paul Fairclough have had their say before the League Two clash at Underhill Saturday afternoon. Sturrock: 'Barnet are a dangerous animal at the moment' Blues boss Paul Sturrock will make sure there is no complacancy in his first team squad he takes to Barnet Saturday due to their lowly League position, they have taken six points from the last four matches including a 2-1 vistory over Spud Taylor's Bradford City, and are one of the form sides in the division, along with the Shrimpers of course, who will be chasing their fourth sucessive away win in a row!Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "It worries me that everyone connected with the club might think that we just turn up on Saturday, run around for 90 minutes and that three points will be ours because it's certainly not going to be like that. Barnet haven't lost in four games, they have a new manager and they are a dangerous animal at the moment because they are fighting for their lives. I've told my players that and I hope the fans also realise that Barnet are going to be a tough nut to crack." Well that clears that up Luggs, but what sort of animal? try { FB.Event.subscribe('xfbml.render', function() { var fbTags = $('.facebookLike'); for(var i=0; iretweet--> try { FB.Event.subscribe('xfbml.render', function() { var fbTags = $('.facebookLike'); for(var i=0; iretweet-->Fairclough: 'They're riding a crest of a wave at the moment' Meanwhile, Bees caretaker boss Paul Fairclough is well aware that Southend have run into a bit of form as well and will be looking for his team to tough it out as they try and continue their unbeaten run.He does of course remeber the last meeting between the sides, a 3-1 win for the Shrimpers in the JPT last October when the ill fated Mark Stimpson was still in charge. Fairclough told www.barnetfc.com: "The last time we played them I was watching from the stands, and I thought that they didn't look like a League 2 side, they looked like a League 1 side. They played well and counter attacked very quickly. Having viewed their last two games, I think that's what we're going to get more of. They're riding a crest of a wave at the moment. It's going to be a real challenge for us at Underhill on Saturday."However, he knows his side are up for the challenge.Fairclough continued: "One thing I can say about Barnet now is whoever we play, we're going to give the opposition a hard game, because we contest it physically for starters. We're moving in the right direction with our defence that's for sure. And while you've got players like Izale McLeod and Mark Marshall on the pitch we've got a chance to score. What we need now is the midfield players to start wading in with a goal."Oh, that's OK, we don't mind if they don't.Anyway, remember, it's a marathon guys, not a sprint.Faircklough concluded: "I don't really care where you win your games and I think it's about reducing your anxiety for your players. I don't care where they win games, so long as they win. What I would say to them is, it's a marathon. There are 19 laps to go. If we keep running those laps like we have in those last four games, then we'll get where we want to go."Blimey, I feel dizzy.
