Blues boss Paul Surrock has spoken about the floodlight failure that led to the his side's game at Cheltenham being abandoned with just over 20 minutes left while losing 1-0. Sturrock: Well, seeing as his side were on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline when the lights went out at Whaddon Road Tuesday evening you would expect Blues boss Paul Sturrock to believe it was the right decision. However, in all seriousness, with a floodlight fuse box having caught alight, the fans safety has to come first.Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "As soon as we heard there was a fire then we knew it had to be called off and the right decision was made. The safety of the supporters is the most important thing but before I knew about the fire I was a bit surprised and it was all very bizarre."
