Former Blues boss Steve Tilson is still on gardening leave and waiting for his final pay-off, a situation he believes will stop him applying for other jobs, including the vacant position at Lincoln City. Tilson: 'In an ideal world I'd like to manage at the highest level I can'To say former Blues boss Steve Tilson is a frustrated man at the moment is an understatement! He took the Shrimpers from League Two to the championship and has just the CV that the managerless Imps are looking for. Unfortunately for Tilly, and possibily Lincoln, Uncle Ron has decided the Sainsbury's money can go anyhere but the Southend manager's bank account in unpaid wages, and in a win/win situation for the the Shrimpers chairman Tilson can't go for any vacant managerial position.Tilly told www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk: "I'm looking to get back into to football, but I'm trying to sort out my situation with Southend. I'm not really sure with the situation I'm in, I just want what I'm due. When you are on gardening leave you're not meant to go for a job."Fair enough Tills, who would not speculate on becoming the next Imps boss, or in fact, returning to the game in any position, possibily due to legal reasons! He continued: "In an ideal world I'd like to manage at the highest level I can. But there are only a certain amount of jobs out there and you have to be realistic. Whichever club it is, I'd have to speak to the chairman and find out about their ambition - you can't rule anything out."Certainly the Lincoln faithful would be more than happy to have someone with Tilson's pedigree laying his hat down at Sincil Bank and you can read what one of them has to say, and the rest of the article, here:www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk/impsnews/Steve-determined-kick-start-career/article-2712511-detail/article.html
