Southend United's Bilel Moshni faces fitness test before Oxford United
Southend United centre-half Bilel Moshni is struggling to be fit to face Oxford United in their New Year's Day clash at the Kassam Stadium. The Blues centre-back is still receiving treatment on the ankle injury he picked up at Cheltenham Town in his side's last game. And Southend boss Paul Sturrock is not sure Mohsni will be able to figure at the Kassam Stadium. "We will give Bilel every possible opportunity to be involved but we're not sure if he's going to be available at this stage," said Sturrock. "We have one or two others with knocks as well which we're keeping an eye on so it's not ideal but it means the whole squad will be involved during this new year period."
