Shrimpers boss Paul Sturrock has confirmed that promising Liverpool winger Jason Benton will get a decision on whether to offer him a loan deal or not Tuesday evening. Jason Banton: Staying with the Shrimpers? He's 18, can also play on the left-wing, and has previouse experience with Arsenal and Blackburn before arriving at Liverpool in January. Jason Benton is a decent prospect, and has been training throughout the last week with the Shrimpers as Blues boss Paul Sturrock looks to increase his striking options. The Tottenham-born Banton came on as a second-half substitute for the Anfield side during their 9-0 of the Southend under-18's in their FA Youth Cup Fifth Round tie which became a Valentine's Day massacre. However, Luggy has not done too well with his loan signings this season, and as any parent knows, teenagers are hell to deal with!Sturrock told www.echo-news.co.uk last week: "I told Jason that I would deliberate over the weekend and then tell him my decision on Monday but it's hard for an 18-year-old to come in and deal with League Two. I tried it with the boy German from QPR and Jarvis from Cardiff and it's difficult for them so I have a few things to think about."Monday though has come and gone and now Luggy has promised to give Jason his decision before to-nights vital match against Gillingham in League Two.Sturrock confirmed: "I will talk to my chief executive tomorrow morning and then I will speak to Jason and let him know my decision in the evening."
