Peterborough United striker Rene Howe played over an hour at Eastbourne Borough Saturday and the Blues management team have a decision to make on the player. Assistant boss Tommy Widdrington, along with manager Paul Sturrock, were taking a close interest in striker Rene Howe down in West Sussex, and we'll have to wait and see if he's done enough to get some more match action against West Ham on Tuesday. rene has certainly done the rounds, even spending time with League Two rivals Gillingham this year!Widdrington told www.southendunited.co.uk: "Peterborough were good enough to let us have a look at Rene and it's something we will obviously discuss now we have seen him up close and personal. We are obviously aware of hime and he does have a good goalscoring record."The Howe Files
