Southend United manager Paul Sturrock and Northampton Town assistant Malcolm Crosby speak
Both Southend United manager Paul Sturrock and Northampton Town assistant boss Malcolm Cosby have their say after the 1-1 draw at Roots Hall Saturday afternoon. Sturrock: 'I thought a draw was a fair result'Sturrock told BBC Essex: "We went behind but again we've dug ourselves out of a hole. They've had a great chance at the back post where the boy should have done better and we've had some chances where the 'keeper has made some decent saves. I thought a draw was a fair result and to be fair we looked a leggy team, so I'm settling for a draw." If you speak Scottish, you can hear Luggy's thoughts here:http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_3/9401931.stmMeanwhile, Cobblers assistant boss Malcolm Cosby, while happy enough with an away point, their sixth draw in a row, a club record, continued the theme of their manager Ian Sampson in the week that they have to start turning all square into all wins! Crosby told BBC Radio Northampton: "If you're getting a draw away from home, it's generally a very good result. What we haven't been doing is taking advantage of the home games. There's a good spirit there, because we're not losing games, and there's plenty of points left. We still believe we have an outside chance of getting into the play-offs. We have to try to get a couple of wins behind us and we have to take advantage."
