Shrimpers suffer Barrett worry

Liam Trotter scored twice to give the Tractor Boys a 2-0 win at Roots Hall, while Tilson was left to worry about a knee injury picked up by Adam Barrett. "It was a good game to play," Tilson told his club's official website. "It was a competitive match, although it isn't too great when a couple of players pick up knocks. "Adam felt his knee and it would have been silly to keep him on. He realised that and felt it was best to come off." Striker Kevin Betsy was unable to start the game with an ankle injury while Tilson was also without the services of Osei Sankofa, James Walker, Damian Scannell and Dougie Freedman (ankle). Barrett's situation will be of extra concern to Tilson, who has been searching for a new defender to replace Peter Clarke who recently joined Huddersfield.
