Southend United manger Paul Sturrock knows his team will have to be at their best to get a positive result at the Globe Arena Saturday, while the Shrimps club secrtary wants to see a crowd! Sturrock: 'We are after another player on loan'If our crowds drop below 6,000 it's a panic, poor old Morecambe have an average of 2,000-plus, it's a different word on the Lancaster coast, but maybe they pay their players on time.Anyway, Blues boss Paul Sturrock is well aware that even after one win in ten the Shrimps are a dangerous beast for his side, that victory was 2-0 at leaders Chesterfield last week!Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "You certainly don't win at Chesterfield if you're not a good team so we will have to be in form if we are to churn out another result."The faithful though are still hoping there may be a new face brought in on loan soon, especially with such a small squad and still 14 games to come over a couple of months, and as ever Luggy remains optimistic, including news of Liverpool youngster Jason Banton.Sturrock concluded: "He's still with us and we will have to decide if he's the right player for us. We are also after another player on loan but there's another club after him so we'll have to see what happens with them because we don't want to get involved in a bidding war."
