Shrimpers striker back in action
The 21-year-old striker has not featured since the January 27 clash with Leeds but played 45 minutes for the Shrimpers' second string as they went down 2-1 to Luton on Monday afternoon.
The game also gave manager Steve Tilson the chance to have a look at Leicester City full-back Lee Cox, who is on trial at the club, along with Carmarthen Town winger Sasha Walters.
Fellow trialists Ashley Civil and Joe Crook also turned out for United.
