Shrimpers youth player Jamie Stevens, who was first loaned out to Great Wakering Rovers along with defender George Artemio and left back Teedy Nesbitt is back at Borroughs Road.
He was first brought in under former boss Ryan Wilkinson at the start of the season but all three returned to Roots Hall.
Stevens goes straight into the squad to face Tilbury on Boxing Day under their new manager Dan Trenkel.
