After a heroric performace against Chelmsford in the Essex Senior Cup expect Southend United keeper Glenn Morris to return against league leaders Chesterfield Saturday. Morris: After the Rhys Evans early show Monday in the 2-1 home defeat to Cheltenham usual starting keeper Glenn Morris just had to show he could stand up straight to return to the Shrimpers side to face the Spireites at Roots Hall Saturday afternoon. However, a stunning triple penalty save in the spot-kick shoot out that settled the Essex Senior Cup tie at Cheltenham in midweek confirmed that, at the moment, he's the man to stick between the sticks against Chesterfield. And he's rather looking forward to it, even after allowing in the stoppage time goal that saw the league's top team take the first game between the sides 2-1 back on Saturday, October 9th. (Report below.)Morris told www.echo-news.co.uk: "Chesterfield are top of the table for a reason and are a good side but we've done well against the top teams so far this season and we're certainly not fearful of playing them because we know we can get a result. Last time we played them we produced a good performance and didn't deserve to lose. We know we can match them though and we want to go and show that again tomorrow - only this time with a better result." Good stuff Glenn, however the Shrimpers have to overcome their poor home form that has seen them win only three of the nine league games played at the home of football, the third fewest in the division!Morris continued: "It's just one of things and I don't really think there's a reason for it. I don't think we're under more pressure playing at home and we just need to get on with getting better results. We are constantly reminded about it but once we sort it out I think we will move up the table because our away form isn't bad."Spireites shock Shrimpers in stoppage time:www.southendunited-mad.co.uk/rprt/mtch/chesterfield_2_southend_united_1_568102/index.shtml
