Carling Cup First Round - Southend United 3 Bristol City 2: The Shrimpers triumphed against their Championship opponents which brings the chance of a money spinnning second round tie. Two goals from Matt Paterson helped knock out Bristol City at Roots Hall The Sturrock Revolution has really started to kick-in now!Blues boss Paul Sturrock didn't make as many changes to the side held by Stockport on Saturday as first thought, just four in all.As predicted in S24's preview Graham Coughlan replaced Mark Phillips at centre back while Sofiene Zaaboub has been selected to play on the left.
