Southend United manager and players got over the shock of losing a two goal lead to speak to the media after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Northampton Town at Roots Hall. He's gutted, after 2-2 draw at home with the Cobblers Speaking to Echoman Chris Phillips afterwards manager Paul Sturrock and goal scorers Bilel Mohsni and Ryan Hall tried to explain how they threw away a two goal lead to draw with League Two rivals Northampton Town Saturday afternoon at Roots Hall, while centre-back Mark Phillips summed it up in his usual distinct way. Sturrock - 'Very disappointed. Players lost concentration and didn't do their jobs. It's 2 points dropped but we played well.   Meanwhile, Bilel Mohsni, who is one yellow card away from a one match suspension, felt he had grabbed the winner in the 78th minute but turned round to see the referee assistant's flag raised, and as we know the French Tunisian is not one to keep his feelings under wrap.    Mohsni - 'I didn't think I was offside for the goal that was disallowed and I'm disappointed by that. The linesman was on my back.'   That leaves winger Ryan Hall who had  a lively match to put in in words without the paranoia!   Hall - 'This feels like a massive defeat for us. I just don't know what happened out there. We made some mistakes and got punished.'   Finally, and so quick on the tweet as ever, central defender Mark Phillips summed up the way the majority of the near five thousand in the crowd felt on the way home.   Phillips - 'Speechless.....feel absolutly gutted'   Well put Mark, and good luck with the charity.
