Shrimpers pay up and settle debt

The Shrimpers were given a stay of execution by the High Court on Wednesday after pledging to repay, in full, the amount owed to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.[LNB]And in a statement issued on Saturday afternoon, the club confirmed that the funds had been paid by one of chairman Ron Martin's Group Companies.[LNB]Martin turned down the offer of outside investment in the club by a local consortium last Monday, pledging to raise the capital himself.[LNB][LNB]
