Shrimpers out at Salisbury, maybe more trailists
Southend United have confirmed that three of the recent signings of Paul Sturrock will be unavailable for their third pre-season at Salisbury City Friday evening. Left back Peter Gilbert, winger Sofiene Zaaboub and striker Blair Sturrock will not be making the trip to Wiltshire Friday night.Sturrock told www.southendunited.co.uk: "Peter has injured his ankle and has a tight thigh, Zaaboub is carrying a groin strain and Blair has a thigh problem.
