If you win four succesive games in a month without conceding a goal while ending it looking down on the rest of the division there's a good chance you might be looked at for monthly homours, and sure enough a couple of Shrimpers have and both with a good chance of winning, certainly Luggy as best boss, with four wins, one draw and a defeat during that time.
If it happens let's hope there's no curse on results for the rest of October!

Player of the Month for September shortlist: Michael Timlin (Southend United), Matt Ritchie (Crawley Town), Danny Carlton (Morecambe).
Swindon loanee Michel Timlin has been in storming form in midfield and scored a couple of stunners against Rotherham United in the month, hope this doesn't make the Robins fancy a recall!
Here though he may have more opposition, and I fancy his parent club's young winger Rirchie for the gong, but congratulations to them both and all the squad for helping them get in this position.
