Shrimpers land Fairhurst
Southend have agreed a deal to sign Doncaster striker Waide Fairhurst on loan.
The 21-year-old will pen a one-month contract on Thursday and will go straight into contention for a start against Chesterfield at the weekend.
Fairhurst has made 12 first-team appearances for Rovers, but has not been part of Sean O'Driscoll's plans at the Keepmoat this term, playing just two times.
