The latest team news for Southend United's League Two clash with bottom two Barnet Tuesday evening at the Underhill stadium.

Shrimpers skipper Chris Barker has fought off his stomach bug that made him miss the Gulls clash last weekend, and having trained with the lads yesterday will take his place in the centre of defence alongside Mark Phillips against Barnet in North London Tuesday evening where close to 1,000 travelling faithful are expected to attend, get their early!

Luke Prosser is out after a clash of heads with Torquay's rather large striker Rene Howe Saturday, blimey it was lucky he only has concussion, and it was the foprmer Southend trialist that got carried off, Luke's made of strong stuff!

Midfielder Lee Sawyer is fit again but a place on the bench looks the best he can expect, as can teenage keeper Daniel Bentley.

All signs now are that West Brom shot stopper Luke Daniels will sign in time to take his place in goal against the Bees tonight at Underhill.

Possible Southend United: Daniels, Clohessy, Barker, Phillips, Gilbert, Kalala, Hall, Ferdinand, Timlin, Harris, Dickinson.   Subs: Bentley, Grant, Sawyer, Mohsni, Sturrock.
